Firstly, I am going to sound like a racist for a minute. I am not. Remotely. I am just a tad confused by this present subject.

There is this game Black College Football Experience [link] It is an all Black football game. Cool. This just popped the question into my head, why isn't this deemed as segregation? Sure, most games are primarily white, but if a game called "White College Football Experience" came out wouldn't the whole world flip a bitch? I am certainly not trying to sound like a supremicist, but this seems like a step backwords to me. Every step society takes towards integration and actual peace between races, we take 2 steps back.



Also, for those of you who haven't heard of the riots in Iran, you should google it. People are dying at the hands of their goverment, and the goverment is sending out messages saying that the protesters are the ones attacking the soldiers. This disgusts me because there is video proof negating this. Sure, maybe some protesters attacked soldiers, but does that give them right to open fire on hundreds of others who have done nothing?

Making this whole issue worse is CNN. I was watching their report on these protests and their views on the goverments attempt at a cover up. They openly call the Iranian goverment's statement Bollocks (It is) but I can't help but wonder what would happen if this was an American problem. Take a look at all the torture cover ups the Americans have had. They did terrible things to living people and covered it up, and CNN went along with these cover ups, but when Iran does the same thing the whole country suddenly becomes the epitomy of evil. It's not like the US wouldn't be covering it up if this happened on their soil. This whole incident really shows what a shitty, shitty world we live in.


How does this fit into normal society? Well, take a look at the Disney Channel stars. Pretend they are the United States. Now look at the Average Joe citizen. He is every other country. The Disney Channel star gets drunk and makes a video on youtube that just so happens to be blatantly racist etc... Now, she is forgiven after an apology to society, and is instantly regiven her television show granting her millions of dollars for doing shit all. Now, the average Joe makes a video with the same context. It gains a large audience who happen to be infuriated by this video. He tries to apologize, but since he means nothing to the heart of America, he is victimized and made into the embodiment of Satan. Good, he deserves to be treated like shit, but so does the Disney Star. It just shows how much fame can affect even the most morally wrong things to do, but with an apology and a statement to "God" the star is let off without a punishment.

This is just evidence that so much of what is happening at this present moment is related. The Black Experience Football game, a simple video game, could cause outrage or warmth in peoples hearts, depending who they are. But if we look on the other side of the spectrum we see what would happen if this was happening on the other side of things. The world is a messed up place that can never seem to see the truth.
